What is Buddha's Wisdom & Mindfulness?

Like you and I, the Buddha was just a human- a man seeking a path to liberation. In modern days, we might see the Buddha as a kind of psychologist, one who deeply understood how the human mind functions, and how it relates to the world around it. 

After the Buddha saw into the nature of suffering and found his enlightenment, he went on to teach for over 40 years. This length of teaching created the most systematic and well-documented dharma’s (teachings) of all of the ancient sages. 

There is untold wisdom entrenched in these teachings, and, when understood correctly, offer us a clear path to freedom from suffering. 

In this eight week course, we break down the core teachings of the Buddha. We learn the fundamentals of what the Buddha meant for us to understand about the world (and ourselves) and we learn the tools (mindfulness and concentration) required to see into those truths. 

The course is a completely live format, taking place over zoom, with interaction, real-life examples and take-home exercises to deepen your understanding. 

The course comes with a written manual, and each session will be recorded for you to watch later. The course recordings will be yours to keep for life. 

The recommended reading is “The Heart of the Buddha’s Teachings” by Thich Nhat Hanh.
