Deep Rest is a mini retreat designed to restore your nervous system and reverse the effects of stress. The retreat will consist of guided relaxation, gentle hatha, calming exercises, breath work and the highly restorative practice of yoga nidra.
Stress depletes our sensitive bodies: leading to illness, unhappiness or low energy. The practices in this mini-retreat are designed to restore the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the system responsible for rest, recovery, cell growth and tissue renewal.

In order to run our errands, survive in the workplace, manage a household, and achieve all that needs to be done, we often reside in states of frustration, impatience, multi-tasking busy minded-ness. Our cognitive thinking minds get over worked, while our capacity to simply rest and BE in states of peace and calm becomes rare.
When we carve out time to notice what is present, to feel our breaths, to listen and speak to each other with care, space opens up and the heart softens. Heartfulness Mini Retreat is a chance to undo the habitual madness of daily life and rest in openness, calm and peace.
